Measuring Airflow with Spirometry

A generous gift from a donor funded the purchase of new sensing equipment for the Science Department. Anatomy & Physiology students are able to use new spirometers to analyze airflow and lung capacity. By measuring how much air you exhale, and how quickly you exhale, spirometry can evaluate a broad range of lung diseases. It can even detect how much hot air Mr. Nickels produces!
