Our Hands for His Service and NHS Service Project

Each spring the National Honor Society and the Student Council of Wisconsin Lutheran High School join together to spearhead a special mission project called Our Hands for His Service (OHFHS). This year, students will be raising money to build an aquaponics agricultural system in Zambia, Africa, which will provide clean water for two communities.

Upcoming fundraiser days include:
April May
11 - Dodgeball Tournament 1 - 3-on-3 Basketball Tournment
19 - Ala Carte 2 - Cotton Candy
22 - Spring Fever Dance 11 - Taste of Wisco
26 - Blood Drive 12 - Hideaway
30 - Car Wash  18 - Cookout (1/2 day)
19 - Chapel reveal

Another major fundraiser activity for the mission project is "WLHS Work Days."
At the request of our friends of Wisco, groups of four to six students go out to homes on several different weekends, and do yard work, garage cleaning, painting, spreading mulch, etc. After the work is completed, the homeowners make a free will offering for the OHFHS project. E-mail workday@wlhs.org or call 262-385-4811 with the details of the job you would like completed and the dates you are available.

This is always an exciting time for the student body of WLHS as everyone works together on different activities striving to reach a goal of $25,000. Fundraising activities include: washing cars, Hide-a-way Cafe talent show, cook-out, sports tournaments, and purchasing special foods prepared by the faculty.

Thank you in advance for your partnership with WLHS. Prayers and donations are very much appreciated.
