Reaching out to Texas
Students who are a part of Wisco Witnesses in the World (WWW) have contacted every Texas pastor and teacher from our WELS churches and schools affected by Hurricane Harvey. Students shared that our Texas brothers and sisters in Christ are in our thoughts and prayers and have offered words and passages of encouragement. Wisco Witnesses in the World is also discussing ways to send physical and/or monetary support as well.
Thank you for all of the kind words, emails, thoughts, and prayers! We received a very nice email from a student at Wisconsin Lutheran High School today. Part of it read:
"Continue to go to God in prayer and keep in mind that whatever you are going through is part of the plan he set out for you. I’ll leave you with this bible verse, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer” (Romans 12:12)."
