Peergrade

Students in Modern World History are testing a new tool called Peergrade.

Peergrade allows students to collaborate and communicate critically about writing in historical thinking concepts. The teacher creates guided questions and a scoring rubric and students anonymously upload their work. Peers are then assigned to provide meaningful feedback to the students prior to assessment by the teacher.

Feedback is the one of the most important factors in improving student achievement according to John Hattie, an expert in the field of Pedagogical Research.
