Civil Rights Tour

The selection process for the Civil Rights Tour was difficult this year, since a record number of students applied for the coming trip on April 2-7, 2018. A total of 32 students were chosen. The tour will visit key Civil Rights movement sites in Illinois, Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia.

Students will be involved in many group discussions and training sessions, and will be required to keep a daily journal of the trip to give them a deeper appreciation and knowledge of the Civil Rights leaders and how God used them to make changes in this country.
Pastor Ken Fisher will be leading the trip and the following teachers will be chaperoning:  Mrs. Deneice Cockroft, Mr. Shelton Daniels, Pastor Phil Huebner, Mrs. Becky Huebner, Ms. Carolyn Sachs, Ms. Tanya Tranberg, and Mr. CL Whiteside.
