Thankful LIving
How appropriate that during this week of Thanksgiving students in Mr. Seeger's Proclaiming Christianity class have been studying the key to thankful living! You are encouraged to open your Bibles to Philippians chapter 4 (or use your Bible app), as the sophomores, to learn the true meaning of thankfulness, the rock solid source of joy, and the true measure of contentment. The chapter is sprinkled with powerful Words of God designed to encourage. A highlight of what the students studied is found in verse 7: "And the peace of God,which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." As you and your families join together in Thanksgiving, may this incomprehensible truth be the bedrock source of your thankfulness. Blessed Thanksgiving from the WLHS theology department!
