Snowtubing Adventure
After school on January 30, new international students and their American mentors enjoyed a beautiful day snowtubing down the hills of Sunburst Winter Sports Park.
Their faces showed rosy cheeks but huge smiles as they spent the afternoon enjoying a fun winter weather activity in Wisconsin. Even the school president was in on the fun of sliding down the hill!
The mentor program partners American students to new international students each year. The American mentors reach out to help the new students get acclimated to our school and local culture, while the international students also get opportunities to share their culture with the American students. Each month, a different activity is planned to allow the group to experience a fun cross-cultural event together.
