Students Gain Real-World Insight at IBAW Event
WLHS students Eisley Gallun and Manuela Franco Periera, accompanied by Business Chair Jason Goede and Director of Student Services Grey Davis, attended the IBAW "Breaking Barriers" event at The Wisconsin Club on Friday, November 21st. The students seized the opportunity to network and speak with women business owners and leaders during the morning session. They heard firsthand about entrepreneurship and leadership challenges from a special panel featuring:
- Kathryn Poehling Seymour (President & CEO, First Supply)
- Dana Kohlmann (Owner, Mama Bear Catering & Incognito Kitchen)
- Adonica Randall (President, Abaxent)
This experience provided the students with valuable insight by women leaders into diverse career paths and the necessary strategies for breaking barriers in today's demanding business landscape.
