The boys track & field team prepared for the outdoor conference championship with a solid showing at the Ron Burling Invitational on a sweltering afternoon in Menomonee Falls.
The team placed third in the field of eight and was led by two individual championships. Silas Ebeling won the 1600 in a time of 4:29.79 and Daniel Fasasi was the champion in the 400 with a time of 49.69.
Additionally, Travis Beckler won the wheelchair 100, 400, and 800. Full results are available here. The conference championship is May 17 at Whitnall.
The boys track and field team tuned up for the conference relays meet with a third place finish at the Brookfield Central Lancer Invite on Friday night.
Individual titles were won by Connor Vierck in the 300m hurdles and the 4x200m relay team of Josiah Rice, Daniel Fasasi, Timothy Roehl-Clincy, and Phrellis Lee. Travis Beckler competed in and won all three of his wheelchair events - the 100m, 400m, and 800m.
Several distance runners competed at the Hale Distance Night on Friday. No team scores were kept. The highest finish of the night went to Michael Miller, who placed 15th in the 800m run. Full results are available here.
The boys track and field team hosted the Carleton Sitz Invitational at WLHS on Saturday and placed 4th of 14 teams.
The 4x400m relay team of Michael Miller, Joey Merrill, Luke Rodgers, and Daniel Fasasi won the team's lone event title, finishing first in 3:35.10. Jordan Jackson was runner-up in the discus throw with a toss of 140-4.

With 136 points, the boys track & field team placed a solid second at the Woodland West Indoor Championships on Wednesday night. Host New Berlin West claimed the title with 166.
The team brought home championships in 5 of 16 events. Silas Ebeling was a double winner in the 1600m run and 3200m run, Michael Miller won the 800m run, Josiah Rice ran away from the field in the 200m dash, and Elijah Villa claimed the top spot in the shot put.

The boys track team started the season off well, placing 3rd of 15 teams at the Performance Running Outfitters Invitational on Saturday. The meet, which the Vikings hosted, was held at UW-Parkside.
Nick Wendl won the 3200 in 10:09.44, which was the only event championship of the day for Wisco. But the team put up seven top-five finishes, good for 61.5 points, which placed them behind only Hartford Union and meet champion Arrowhead.
