Freshman Eva Kuehn represented Wisconsin Lutheran at the WIAA State Cross Country Championships on Saturday. She finished her season with a successful race, covering the course at Arrowhead High School in 19 minutes, 27.8 seconds, good for a 30th place finish in the Division 1 field.

Eva Kuehn will get to continue her excellent season for one more week. The freshman finished seventh overall at the WIAA D1 Sectional meet on Saturday to qualify for the WIAA State Championship.

The girls cross country team put together its best race of the season on Tuesday night but ended up fourth at the WIAA subsectional meet. Freshman Eva Kuehn advanced to Saturday's sectional championship on the strength of a second-place individual finish.

Freshman Eva Kuehn led the race from wire to wire en route to claiming the individual conference championship at the Woodland West meet on Saturday. She covered the challenging Tendick Park course in 20 minutes, four seconds, to win by 14 seconds.

Led by overall champion Eva Kuehn, the girls cross country team won the Lake Country Lutheran Invitational on Saturday. Kuehn raced to victory in 19:17.2, placing her second on the school's all-time list at 5,000 meters.

Led by freshman Eva Kuehn, the girls cross country team placed third overall in the Angel Invitational at UW-Parkside on Saturday. Kuehn covered the 5,000-meter course in 20:37.1, good for third place individually.

The girls cross country team won the early session and placed second overall in the Rocket Invitational at South Milwaukee High School on Saturday.

The girls cross country team opened its season with the Highlander Invitational at Tendick Park on Friday. The meet was conducted in two sessions for safety reasons. Freshman Eva Kuehn paced the Vikings with a ninth-place finish overall (sixth in the second session) in a time of 20:30.9.
