Viking Christian Leaders: Wisdom

Congratulations to Grace Frey ('21) and Nathaniel Frisque ('22) who were selected as Viking Christian Leaders for the month of January under “The Wisco Way Word": Wisdom. We thank God for the way Grace and Nathaniel have modeled servant leadership at school and in the community. Any student or staff member may nominate a student for the Viking Christian Leadership Award which is presented each month to one young man and one young woman.
Grace Frey is from South Milwaukee, Wis. and attended grade school at Zion Lutheran in South Milwaukee, where she is also a member.
 
Currently a senior at Wisco, Grace has participated in volleyball, basketball, choir, and a mission trip to China. She has also been involved in the youth group at her church and has helped with Vacation Bible School.
 
In her spare time, Grace enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing any kind of sport, playing music, and painting.
 
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Grace plans to go to college and major in early childhood education.
 
Grace characterizes wisdom in Christian leadership as guiding people in the light of Christ when making decisions.

Nathaniel Frisque is from Greenfield, Wis. He is a member at St. Jacobi in Greenfield, where he also attended grade school.
 
Currently a junior at Wisco, Nathaniel has participated in concert band, jazz band, sax choir, woodwind ensemble, Viking Steel, and Pilot. Nathaniel has volunteered at his church by teaching Sunday School.
In his spare time, Nathaniel enjoys music and taking photographs.
 
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Nathaniel plans to go to college for jazz or music performance or education.
 
Nathaniel characterizes wisdom in Christian leadership as having knowledge of God’s Word, and applying that knowledge to leadership.
