Viking Christian Leaders: Courage

Congratulations to Jordan Glenn ('22) and Kate Luong ('21), who were selected as Viking Christian Leaders for the month of April under “The Wisco Way Word": Courage. We thank God for the way Jordan and Kate have modeled servant leadership at school and in the community. Any student or staff member may nominate a student for the Viking Christian Leadership Award which is presented each month to one young man and one young woman.
Jordan Glenn is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and attended grade school at St. Marcus in Milwaukee, where he is also a member.
Currently a Junior at Wisco, Jordan has participated in football, basketball, and track. He has also attended the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy and has gone on the Civil Rights Tour.
In his spare time, Jordan enjoys spending time with family, hanging out with friends, and working out.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Jordan plans to pursue a degree in business.
Jordan characterizes courage in Christian leadership as making wise decisions throughout life and evangelizing.

Kate Luong is from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. She attended grade school internationally.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Kate has participated in Jubilation, Student Council, NHS, WWW, VCLA, and Math Track. She has also served as a tutor.

Kate has volunteered at the food pantry, organized Christmas and Easter activities for kids at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, organized charity events for visually-impaired children in Vietnam, and will volunteer at a local hospital this summer.

In her spare time, Kate enjoys reading Chemistry books, watching Netflix, cooking, and swimming.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Kate plans to attend the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY, majoring in Biomedical Science and Statistics.
Kate characterizes courage in Christian leadership as even doing something small, such as giving little compliments to others or sharing a Bible verse with them as they are dealing with challenges in life.
