Viking Christian Leaders: Truth

Congratulations to Grace Daley ('22) and Jinyeong Kim ('23) who were selected as Viking Christian Leaders for the month of October under “The Wisco Way Word": Truth. We thank God for the way Grace and Jinyeong have modeled servant leadership at school and in the community. Any student or staff member may nominate a student for the Viking Christian Leadership Award which is presented each month to one young man and one young woman.
Grace is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but now resides in New Berlin, Wisconsin. She is a member at Star of Bethlehem, where she attended grade school.
 
Currently a senior at Wisco, Grace has participated in cross country, track, freshman choir, Inspiration, percussion ensemble, jazz ensemble, band, Viking Steel, Student Council, NHS, and the fall drama.
Grace volunteers at her church by playing music for services.
 
In her spare time, Grace enjoys playing piano, drawing, and climbing trees.
 
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Grace plans to go to college to study art and music.
 
Grace characterizes truth in Christian leadership as being honest with yourself and others in Christian love.

Jinyeong is from Suwon, South Korea. He attends Seoul Lutheran Church and went to Maehyun Middle School in South Korea.
 
Currently a junior at Wisco, Jinyeong has participated in JV soccer, eSports, math track, WWW, and VCLA. 
Jinyeong has participated in Bible class at his church in Seoul.
 
In his spare time, Jinyeong enjoys listening to music, watching soccer games, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.
 
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Jinyeong plans to attend college and major in economics.
 
Jinyeong characterizes truth in Christian leadership as using truth to figure out your talents. God has given each individual a special talent, and it is very important to figure out what it is by being honest with yourself.
