Easter Joy to Shut-ins
Students in the WLHS service organization Viking Christian Leader Academy (VCLA) hosted a card making event for the student body. Students created cards with Easter pictures, and Bible passages on the inside for local nursing homes. VCLA student leaders then dropped off the cards to Azura and Shorehaven care communities on Good Friday for the residents to receive on Easter Sunday.
The mission of VCLA is to support the WLHS culture by strengthening its student leaders and helping them take the next step with their leadership skills. Click here for more information about this student organization, open to all students.
