This course is designed to be the equivalent to a general chemistry taken in college. The course teaches the fundamentals and competence in dealing with chemical problems. In addition, the course will contribute to the development of students’ abilities to think clearly and express their ideas, orally and in writing, with clarity and logic. Students will be expected to spend some time outside of the regular class period in laboratory activities.
