Future Business Leaders of America New Wisco Club

Wisconsin Lutheran High School is excited to add Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) as a new co-curricular to its offerings. In November, students on the Wisco FBLA executive team attended a conference in Eau Claire, Wis., to help organize this new club. Students attended workshops on networking, leadership, how to be in business, and defining characteristics for new clubs. FBLA president Tiffany Chen ('23) (pictured middle) says that the most important advantage for her joining this club is establishing connections and meeting new people. "At the conference, I was able to network with people and see what sparks their interest. I now have a group of new connections to help with graphic design work."
Wisco will have the opportunity to send members of its FBLA club to a regional competition in February, where the top three teams will compete at State. Students will have 72 categories in which they can present a business idea. Wisco FBLA club is funded through the Plautz Fund.
