Pianos Gifted through Plautz Fund

Thanks in part to the Plautz Fund, WLHS made two much-needed piano upgrades this past summer. A baby grand Kawai now sits centrally in our choir room, and accompanists in our chapel auditorium will now play a new upright Yamaha. These additions allowed us to place an older baby grand in a practice room and to retire a weathered "saloon" piano that was older than our building. Praise God for blessing us through the Plautz Fund.
Since 1974, WLHS seniors have been researching, monitoring, and buying stocks as part of the Lauretta Plautz Fund. And, in 2013, an anonymous donor established the ViTech Fund to provide another hands-on learning opportunity using technology stocks.

Under the guidance of Mr. Rick Eastman and Mr. Eric Ruh, students learn about the stock market and decide how to allocate about $15,000 in yearly distributions for faculty grant requests. All praise and glory to God for this blessing!
