Student Performers Shine at the 2025 Jerry Awards

The 2025 spring musical "Singin' in the Rain" received twenty-two Jerry Award nominations, and from those finalists, three Wisco student performers received the award in their category. Members of the cast and crew attended the 2025 Jerry Awards at the Overture Center in Madison to support these three students who participated in the show:

Sydney Biebert ('25): Outstanding Lead Performance
Fred Ramsey ('25): Outstanding Supporting Performance
Jenesis Wesley ('25): Spirit Award

These three students had the special opportunity to rehearse and perform in a musical number with other award winners from around the state for the awards show. Sydney performed a short solo in her role as Lina Lamont, and Fred had a solo within his group's performance.
