Attendance Reminders - Leaving Early or Arriving Late
At times, a student must leave school before 3:00 p.m. When this is necessary, please follow our protocols:
- A parent or guardian must communicate in advance with one of the following: a signed note, phone call (414-626-4567 is the direct Attendance Office phone line), or email attendance@wlhs.org. Please make every effort to call at least one hour ahead of your student’s departure time.
- Make sure that the contact/emergency information on your child's onCampus record is up to date. Students will not be excused or released from school by anyone other than the parent or guardian listed on their onCampus account.
- Students must stop at the attendance office before leaving school and check-in with attendance when returning back to school from appointments.
When students arrive to school late they have a maximum of 5 minutes after checking in with the attendance office to arrive to their class. Students should use the bathroom and go to their locker before checking in. A detention will be issued for any student that exceeds the 5 minute maximum.
