Warm Welcome to Brazilian Friends
The WLHS International Program is hosting a "Week at Wisco" with Colégio AZ Internacional from Bragança Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil. From October 16–25, eight Brazilian students and one chaperone are staying in local homestays arranged by WLHS, getting a taste of classes, participating in athletic and dorm activities, visiting local sights around Milwaukee, and presenting about Brazilian culture at one of our partner Lutheran elementary schools. This marks the third time WLHS has hosted a group from this school.
Colégio AZ Internacional is the same school that hosts the biannual Wisco mission trip to Brazil. Some of the students currently attending the "Week at Wisco" also attended the WLHS Summer Camp for international students. Our hope is to continue building a relationship with this wonderful school and community!
