Kaden is from Milwaukee. He attended grade school and is a member at Zion Lutheran in South Milwaukee.
Kaden was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader award for his consistent effort, positive attitude, and Christ-like leadership, especially in marching band, where he fostered peace, ensured everyone felt heard, and stayed calm even during challenges. He leads by example across many activities, resolving conflict peacefully, supporting others, and bringing joy and unity wherever he is involved.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Kaden has participated in Canoe Club, Viking Claybreakers, marching band, jazz and percussion ensembles, and Viking Steel. He has been a member of Wisco Witnesses in the World, Viking Christian Leaders Academy, and National Honor Society. Kaden attended a WLHS mission trip to Tennessee, and he is going on one to Thailand this summer.
Kaden has volunteered at his church by serving as an usher.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, playing video games with the boys, watching movies, traveling, and hiking.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Kaden is planning to attend Martin Luther College for Secondary Education to teach history.
Kaden characterizes peace in Christian leadership as showing Christ-like love to peers by unifying and caring for everyone, no matter the time or circumstance.
Manuela is from São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil. She attended grade school and is a member at a church in Brazil.
Manuela was nominated for the Viking Christian Leader award for her servant-hearted leadership and calm, Christ-centered presence, especially through her work with the Global Leadership Team and the American mentor program, where she consistently supports and advocates for new international students. She promotes inclusion, resolves conflict with patience and grace, and goes above and beyond to create welcoming spaces for others, reflecting compassion and harmony in all she does.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Manuela has participated in track and field, forensics, Viking Christian Leaders Academy, National Honor Society, Ski Club, Fashion Club, and Pilot, and she has served as an attendance runner and on the Global Leadership Team.
In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, reading, writing, and working out.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Manuela is planning on attending college in the United States for Marketing.
