Milwaukee & Wisconsin Parental Choice Programs Open Enrollment
2026 Open Enrollment starts on Monday, February 2, for all families wishing to utilize the Milwaukee (MPCP) or Wisconsin (WPCP) Parental Choice Programs for the 2026-27 school year.
Important deadline change: Families using WPCP (non-City of Milwaukee residents) must complete the full application process by Friday, February 20. This deadline no longer extends into April.
Open Enrollment for both MPCP and WPCP runs February 2–February 20 (closes at 11:59 p.m.).

STEP 1 - If you wish to or have applied at WLHS under the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP) or Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP), you must APPLY ONLINE using the DPI website (CLICK HERE) during the enrollment period to complete an application for the program.
STEP 2 - Then, you (PARENT/GUARDIAN) need to EMAIL YOUR VERIFYING DOCUMENTS, instructed by your individual online application, to WLHS at this email address- choice@wlhs.org. All required documents need to be submitted prior to the closing of the open enrollment period 11:59 PM on February 20, in order for your application to be processed. No exceptions can be made, so please plan accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE: If a NEW Choice applicant to WLHS already has a sibling CURRENTLY attending WLHS through the Choice Program, please disclose this information in the email body that you send.
