Schools2Skills Trip Connects Classroom to Clinical Practice
WLHS students in the Schools2Skills program, part of our partnership with the Waukesha County Business Alliance, recently experienced a day of career-focused learning in the medical field. Students toured Carroll University to explore collegiate life and medical education, then visited Froedtert Medical Lab to see firsthand how pathology and diagnostic science support lifesaving work. By connecting university study with real-world clinical practice, the trip gave students a clearer picture of future opportunities in the sciences. Thank you to the Waukesha County Business Alliance, Carroll University, and Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin for making this experience possible.
