Game Summaries (4.18-4.22.17)

The Varsity Baseball team bounced back from a tough week with a loss to Waterford and two to Oconomowoc. Then they finished with a double header sweep of Racine Park on Saturday. In the first game the Vikings were led by a strong pitching performance from Brandon Walk who threw a complete game 1 hitter in the 3-1 victory. Then in game 2, a bases loaded 3 run double by Mitch Hopp in the 5th inning and a walk off suicide squeeze bunt by Noah Bilitz in the bottom of the 7th helped the Vikings erase two 3 run deficits in the last three innings to seal the 9-8 victory. Varsity Baseball’s next home game is this Friday at 4:30 pm against Catholic Memorial at Rainbow Park.
