Seniors will be meeting with counselors in groups this Thursday and Friday during study hall or flex to discuss their Academic and Career Plans (ACP). Students should check their email for directions. Parents should review the senior section of the Student Services resource board (through onCampus) for the presentation given to students.
Over the next month, each senior will have a one-on-one session with their counselor to review where they are at in their post high school plan. Students should log in their post high school plans in their Xello account prior to their individual meetings. An email (notification in onCampus) will be sent to students and parents to recap individual meetings.
Parents can also track progress by logging into their child's Xello accounts. The counsel given to seniors is a key meeting that takes place to support college, career, and life readiness.
Seniors are encouraged to review the list of items to complete before graduation to help support their ACP:
Attend the national college fair in Milwaukee and on-site Post High School Planning Night at WLHS
Register for college visits through Student Services Office
Attend Viking-2-Viking seminars
Solidify postsecondary plans and consult with a counselor as needed
