WELS Call Updates

The following is an update on the recents calls that our staff received and that WLHS extended:
  • Mr. Blair Schaper returned his call to St. John's in Sparta, Wisconsin, to serve as principal. He will remain at WLHS.
  • Dr. Stacy Bitter and her husband, Pastor Dave Bitter, received calls to Water of Life in Las Vegas, Nevada, to serve as the Early Childhood Director and pastor, respectively.

  • Mr. Mark Moldenhauer received a call to teach history and coach at Lakeside Lutheran High School.
  • Ms. Gina Radue received a call to teach Algebra at Divine Savior Academy in Doral, Florida.
On Thursday, April 10, the board of directors called Mr. Ryan Schmeling for the position of Director of Development - Major Gifts. Mr. Schmeling is currently the Mission Advancement Director at Evergreen Lutheran High School.

The WELS calling season closed April 15. WLHS is currently seeking an instructor to teach Foods and ProStart classes for grades 9-12. For more information, click here.
