Published Instrumental Arrangement

WLHS Director of Bands Quinten Petersen has a newly published piece of music. The arrangement is Sonata No. 50 - Allegro con Brio by Franz Joseph Haydn and can be purchased here. "Finding music for our instrumentation can be difficult. I had played this piece on piano for my senior recital and thought it might be fun to try an arrangement of it for woodwind. We played it at WSMA District and State a few years ago and the kids enjoyed it," said Mr. Petersen. The arrangement was sent to Eighth Note Publications where it went through a selected process before publication.
