Congratulations to the 2025 track and field teams! Both boys and girls won their WIAA regional and sectional meets. After the success of these meets a large group of our student athletes qualified for the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) State Track and Field Championships in La Crosse on June 6-7 including: 18 events in track and field, 15 boys and 20 girls, and combined Wisco qualified in 26 of the 36 events. Congratulations to our Wisco athletes and coaches.
At state, our athletes had continued success.
Leading the way for the girls were these top eight finishes: Sam Walker ('26) in the 100 high hurdles (2nd), the 300 intermediate hurdles (5th), the 800 m relay team (2nd), Belle Coudron ('25) in the 200 (5th), and Reina Ebeling ('28) in the 3200 (8th).
The boys were led by the state title of Niyer Clayborn ('27) in the 110 meter high hurdles setting a new state record during the preliminaries. The boys also had these top eight finishes: the 400 meter relay team (5th), Josiah Rice ('25) in the long jump (6th), Will Gehl ('26) in the pole vault (7th), Niyer Clayborn in the 300 hurdles (7th), and Josh Junek ('27) in the high jump (8th).
