Wisconsin Lutheran High School is pleased to have Mrs. Megan Buschkopf serve as orchestra teacher and director of the string ensemble. A graduate of the WLHS Class of 2000, Mrs. Buschkopf returned to her alma mater following a distinguished career in music education, including work as a violin instructor at Bruce Guadalupe Community School and as an adjunct music professor at Alverno College. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Violin Performance and dual Master’s degrees in Chamber Music Performance and String Pedagogy from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
In addition to her responsibilities at WLHS, Mrs. Buschkopf teaches violin privately and is pursuing synod certification through Martin Luther College. She and her husband, Benjamin (’01), are members of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and are the parents of Ingrid (’22) and Micah (’25). Outside the classroom, Mrs. Buschkopf enjoys Olympic weightlifting, running, knitting, and reading.
