Co‑curricular involvement is more than just fun—it builds friendships, character, and real‑world skills. More than 85% of our students participate in one or more clubs or activities, all open to students in good standing (minimum 1.5 GPA).
Whether it's Future Business Leaders of America, Robotics, Math Track, or the hands‑on Plautz & ViTech Funds, there's a way to dive into your passions. Maybe you're drawn to leadership—Student Council, Viking Christian Leader Academy, Chick-fil-A Leader Academy and our Global Leadership Team offer meaningful opportunities to serve and lead. Or perhaps the arts are your outlet—Art Club, Drama, Musical Production, Instrumental & Vocal Ensembles, Forensics, Compass (yearbook), Pilot (newspaper), and our Tech Team await your creativity.
We’re also excited to welcome newer options like Rock Climbing Club, Viking Claybreakers, and Ski & Snowboarding Club—keep an eye out in daily announcements for how to sign up. Clubs meet before, during, and after school, giving plenty of flexibility even if you're involved in athletics or other commitments. It's a perfect way to discover new recreations, grow your leadership, and deepen your WLHS community experience.
Check today's announcements here for updated club sign-up information and meeting times. Want help finding something that fits your interests? Reach out to Student Services or drop by the Student Organizations page on our website here to explore all your options.
