Happy 122nd Birthday, Wisco!

On September 21, 1903, Wisco’s story began when 18 girls gathered in a gas-lit classroom at Milwaukee Evangelical Lutheran Akademie, taught by a handful of volunteer staff. Today—122 years later—WLHS is blessed to serve more than 900 young men and women, guided by over 80 dedicated full-time faculty members. While much has changed over the years, one thing has remained constant: our mission to provide a Christ-centered education grounded in the Gospel.
