Viking-2-Viking: Finance
WLHS kicked off this year's Viking-2-Viking career series with a session focused on finance. This program brings together WLHS alumni and current juniors and seniors to explore life after graduation, discover career paths, and learn what it means to be productive, Christ-centered professionals. Alumni Luke Melms ('07), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and founder of Firm Foundation Family Wealth, and Matthew Ryshke ('07), Senior Financial Analyst at Medica, returned to campus to share real-world insight with juniors and seniors.
Students learned about career paths in investing, actuarial science, and financial planning, while hearing how both alumni integrate faith and purpose into their professional lives. The event offered valuable networking, practical advice, and a reminder that Vikings continue to support Vikings long after graduation. WLHS looks forward to continuing these alumni-student connections throughout the year as more Viking-2-Viking sessions highlight a variety of career fields.
