Vikings Triumph on Senior Night

A big first half helped the Vikings to an 85-52 win over South Milwaukee on Senior Night. Wisco improved to 20-2 on the year and clinched the eighth 20-win season in program history with the victory.

The Vikings jumped out to a 43-8 lead on the strength of a defense that forced 16 first-half turnovers and an offense that shot 11-21 from behind the three-point arc. Josh Knueppel feasted on the Rockets' defense for the second time this season, connected on 5-of-6 long distance attempts before halftime and finishing with 18 points and six triples on the night. Jamiir Allen added 14 points and three assists, and Kon Knueppel scored 10 points and led the team with seven boards.

On Senior Night, each of the five active seniors got into the books. Brendan Lane scored 8 points and came up with 4 steals. Jordan Glenn and London Ashford had 6 points apiece; Ashford had 2 steals while Glenn grabbed 3 rebounds. MJ Townsend scored 5 points and handed out 3 assists, and Stefan Kolarevic had a pair of assists to go along with 2 points.
