A Student's Heartfelt Reflection on Faith and Mission
Student Dameon Highshaw ('26), along with a WLHS team, participated in a mission trip to the Philippines in partnership with Friends Network missionaries. After day one of helping Friends Network, Dameon was asked to lead a devotion for the group, which can be found here. Dameon eloquently expressed a deep understanding of the relational and intentional nature of missionary work, with insight well beyond his years.
While on the trip, the students had opportunities to participate in a variety of mission activities and were mentored by the Friends Network team.
