Welcome to New International Students!
As we enter the new calendar year, we welcome two new international students who are joining the Wisconsin Lutheran High School family at the start of the spring semester.
Coming from China and Vietnam, the new international students arrived at WLHS for an orientation on January 2 so they could meet school officials, take a school tour, and get valuable information to set them up for success.
Each new international student also receives a local American mentor student. Our mentors build a friendship with the international students and give them advice about many aspects of the student experience. Meanwhile, the mentors also get an amazing opportunity to learn about a culture from another part of the world. Our mentors and international students enjoyed a Milwaukee city tour and daily meetups in the first week of the new semester to help build their camaraderie and friendship.
