Students in grades 6-12 were invited to the WLHS Trades Fair on January 21, where a wide range of skilled trade and tech colleges were in attendance for questions, discovery, and demonstrations. Students were invited to explore hands-on activities such as welding and electrical circuit projects. Discussions with industry professionals provided valuable insights into the recommended career paths for students' specific area of interest. We thank our local businesses who took part in the trades fair, including:
WRTP BIG STEP, CESA 6 - Youth Apprenticeship, AMCSI, Husco, Glenn Rieder, LLC, ABC of Wisconsin Apprenticeship, Ironworkers Local 8, Krones Inc, JP Cullen, InSinkErator (Whirlpool), InnoFab, Hellermann Tyton
"The WLHS Trade Show is yet another opportunity to show our students that skilled trades can lead to long-lasting, rewarding careers. We truly enjoy the cooperation between the school and local businesses. What’s really neat about this event is the opportunity to hear the stories of our alumni. They come back to not only share their current professions but also their career path journeys. To witness that connection and see the look in the students’ eyes as they realize where they can serve our Lord—that’s what makes this event and the ministry at Wisconsin Lutheran High School so special," said Grey Davis, Director of Student Services at Wisconsin Lutheran High School.
