Volleyball Brings Home Title at Ram Slam
The Wisco volleyball squad traveled to Grayslake (IL) Central High School and won the Ram Slam tournament for the first time in 4 attempts. The Vikings dropped just one set all day in claiming the championship.
In pool play, the Vikings defeated Lake Park, Grayslake North and Carmel. In the tournament portion, they downed Regina Dominican in the semifinals and knocked off Carmel for a second time in the finals.
Leading the way for the team was Carissa Sundholm with 37 kills, Grace Beyer with 97 assists, Morgan Dunn with 55 digs and 8 aces and Julia Treichel with 10 total blocks.
The Lady Vikings were named one of the Journal/Sentinel teams of the week for their accomplishments.
