Volleyball Places Fifth at Charger Rally
The Wisco volleyball squad took on the Eastbay Charger Rally this past Friday and Saturday. The tournament featured 14 teams that are ranked in the latest coaches poll. The Vikings defeated West Bend West, Mukwonago, Howards Grove and Waukesha West, but dropped tough matches to Kimberly and Cedarburg to finish 5th out of 27 teams.
Leading the charge for the Vikings was Julia Treichel with 62 kills, 59 digs and 5 aces over the weekend. Her performance earned her a spot on the all-tournament team. Grace Beyer contributed 124 assists, Morgan Dunn also had 59 digs and Carissa Sundholm also had 5 aces and Natalie Tesch led with 14 total blocks.
Reaching milestones this weekend were Carissa Sundholm recording her 1,000th career kill and Morgan Dunn getting her 1,000th career dig.
