Viking Marching Band Rounds Out Season
This past Friday, October 12, the Viking Band hosted almost 600 students from our conference grade schools for the annual grade school marching band show. The show featured each part of the marching band—brass, woodwinds, colorguard, pit percussion, auxiliary percussion—and concluded with all 600 visiting students marching to the school song with the band.
Viking Marching Band wrapped up their competitive season this past weekend with a performance at the State Marching Band Championships hosted at UW-Whitewater. WLHS came in 4th place in Class A and performed their best show of the season, improving in every aspect.
