With his team trailing 3-2 in the final inning, Carter Raabe led off with a single. He then swiped second base and third base to set up Elliot Imberger's game-tying single. Imberger advanced to second on Elijah Henning's single and moved to third when Caleb Bilitz was intentionally walked to load the bases. With a 1-1 count on Colin Olson, Imberger broke for the plate and stole home to end the game.

Gavin Vrana pitched five solid innings, allowing just two earned runs and striking out four. Olson earned the win in relief. Henning and Kyle Ristow paced the Vikings with two hits apiece.
