Fourth-Ranked Whitnall Downs Vikings
The Viking softball team took an early lead, but saw #4 Whitnall score ten unanswered runs in the middle innings, and fell to the Falcons 10-1 on Tuesday night.
A bases-loaded walk by Alyssa Kieselhorst in the top of the first brought Leah Pinnow in with the game's first run, but it was the only run the Vikings would muster all day. Whitnall scored twice in the third to take the lead, and then tacked on four runs in the fourth and then again in the fifth to pull away.
Kimmie Wandschneider went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Wisco offense. Sam Thompson struck out two over three innings in her season debut on the mound.
