Blessing for New Flags

For the first time in WLHS history, students from Albania, Montenegro, Serbia and Spain are attending our school. During chapel on Monday, September 16, Reverend Doctor Kenneth Fisher blessed the new flags (pictured left to right) that Serbian student Stefan ('22), Albanian student Jeton ('22), Spanish student Diego ('21), and Montenegro student Iva ('21) carried. Forty flags now hang in our atrium. They represent the countries from which we now have or have had students attending WLHS, and they remind us that we are a Great Commission School.
