Viking Christian Leaders: Unity
Congratulations to Trinity Moore (’20) and Jon Kannenberg (’20) who were selected as Viking Christian Leaders for the month of September under “The Wisco Way Word": Unity. We thank God for the way Trinity and Jon have modeled unity at school and away from school. Any student or staff member may nominate a student for the Viking Christian Leadership Award which is presented each month to one young man and one young woman.
Trinity is from Milwaukee, Wis. She is a member at Siloah Lutheran Church where she attended Siloah Lutheran Grade School.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Trinity has participated in track and field (9-12). She attended the Civil Rights Tour (11), is in the Viking Christian Leadership Academy (12), and attended the mission trip to Africa.
In her spare time, Trinity enjoys hanging out with friends and watching TV.
After graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Trinity plans to pursue a nursing degree at an institution where she can continue her academics and love of track and field.
Trinity characterizes Christian leadership through UNITY as being welcoming to people from other countries, showing a caring attitude to make them feel comfortable, taking the time to talk to others, both international students as well as students that aren’t your closest friends.
Jon is from Butler, Wis. He is a member at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Brookfield, where he attended Christ the Lord Lutheran Grade School.
Currently a senior at Wisco, Jon has participated in Jubilation (9-12), Viking Marching Band (9-12), Percussion Ensemble (9-12), Wisco Kids his senior year, and Pit Orchestra for three years. He attended the Civil Rights Tour his junior year, was a member of AOC/WWW all four years, was a freshman mentor (11), on the leadership team (12), and also a part of the Viking Christian Leadership Academy his senior year. Jon has participated in two mission trips to assist ministry in Chicago (10) and China (11).

Jon volunteers at his church as a Sunday School assistant and helping with VBS.
In his spare time, Jon enjoys tennis and making music videos
