WIAA Team Accomplishments

Boys and girls fall athletics both had strong seasons. Girls volleyball is headed to the State finals this Friday, November 8, at the Resch Center in Green Bay. In the first round the team will play Luxemburg-Casco at 2:00 p.m. A team has not made it to State since 2002. We wish them blessings and congratulate them on their successful seasons.
The entire boys cross country team qualified for WIAA State finals this year. This is the tenth year the boys qualified as an entire team. At the State Championships in Wisconsin Rapids, the team finished in 7th place. Additionally, Vicente Janik ('21) finished in 6th place, making him only the 6th runner in Wisco history to podium at the State meet.

Alyssa Ebeling and Emma Johnson qualified for girls state cross country and finished 39th and 49th in a field of over 150 runners.

The football team qualified for the WIAA playoffs for the 19th time in the 20 years since being in the WIAA! The varsity football team narrowly lost 34-35 in the WIAA Level 1 playoff game against Plymouth High School. The team wraps up their season with a record of 4-5 and 4-4 in conference play. They finished fifth in the West Division of the Woodland Conference.

The boys soccer team finished their season ninth out of 14 teams in the West Division of the Woodland Conference. They lost 3-1 in the second round of the playoff season to Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School. On the way to this finish, Titus Kostrzewa ('20) set a single season goal scoring record. The team also enjoyed a tournament in Wisconsin Dells where they had a 1-1 record.
