St. Marcus Lutheran Church & School
St. Marcus Lutheran Church and School (2215 N Palmer St, Milwaukee) has offered worship services for over 140 years and provided a Lutheran elementary and middle school education in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood since 1972. The school has since grown to two campuses, opening North Campus in 2014. The school's combined total enrollment is over 920 students.
St. Marcus church offers a vibrant Martin Luther King Jr. Day worship service in January and celebrates Juneteenth Day within the community. Annually, on September 11, St. Marcus students participate in a "walk & ceremony" to Engine 21 Firehouse.
