Vikings Claim Winter Festival Victory
The Wisco basketball team bounced back from a loss on Tuesday with a 73-57 win over Pius XI in the annual Winter Festival game at WLHS.
The Vikings ran out to a 47-23 halftime lead on the strength of 55% shooting and 14 forced turnovers. They forced 24 turnovers in all; 13 of them on steals.
Tyrese England led Wisco with 19 points; he also added four assists and three steals. Jordan Glenn contributed 13 points and Jonah Rindfleisch notched another double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. More stats are available here.
