Wrestling Claims Regional Championship
The Viking wrestling team won 15 of 16 matches in final round en route to claiming a WIAA Regional Championship for the second consecutive year. In addition the team qualified 13 wrestlers for the individual sectional championships.
The squad boasted six individual champions: Coen Henn, Adler Henn, David Carson, Isaiah Flores, Sammy Bausley, and Alex Sutter. Two wrestlers took second place: Ruben Micheel and Jacob Bonow. Trevion Marks, Nate Doan and Ben Haakenson each placed third. And Jordan Jackson also qualified for sectionals with a fourth place finish.

The Vikings will face Brookfield East in the team sectional at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 18. That matchup will take place at Milwaukee Riverside High School.
The individual sectional is scheduled for Saturday, February 22 at Whitefish Bay High School, with competition slated to begin at 9:30 AM.
