XCountry Runs Away with Conference Championship
On Saturday, October 10, the boys cross country team won the Woodland West Conference Championship at Tendick Park in Saukville, Wis. With this win, the boys team has back-to-back championships and 21 championship titles in their history. The team was led by the 1st Team All-Conference finishes of Silas Ebeling ('23) and Luke Wegner ('21). Second Team All-Conference honors go to Vicente Janik ('21), Adam Kriefall ('21), Michael Miller ('22) and Tristan Sanchez ('21).
On Tuesday night the boys cross country team won the WIAA Regional Meet by placing all seven runners in the top 25 and led by the top 10 finishes of Silas Ebeling ('23), Nick Wendl ('23) and Vicente Janik ('21). They have now qualified for the Sectional Meet which takes place Friday, October 23. Four teams will be racing with the top two to qualify for the State Championship. The boys cross country team now has a record of 66-1. Congratulations!
