Girls Track Wins Home Invitational

The girls varsity track & field team claimed the team title in a closely contested Pre-Prom Party at WLHS on Friday night. The Vikings edged out Muskego for first place, 125-123.

Event winners for Wisco included Malia Lee, who won the shot put with a throw of 33-8.5. Kayla Wigley cleared 5-0 to win the high jump. Eva Kuehn was the champion in the 1600, where her time of 5:20.14 placed her 9th on the school's all-time list. And Jaiah Hopf enjoyed another record-breaking day, claiming the long jump title with a leap of 18-7.75 inches, which set a new meet and stadium record.
