Baseball Falls to West in Conference Opener
The Viking baseball team suffered a close loss at New Berlin West on Friday night in the Woodland West Conference opener.
The Vikings jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first, but it would be the only offense they could muster. West pushed two runs across in the bottom of the third to tie the game and tallied two more times in the fifth inning to take the lead.
Wisco gets another shot at West immediately. They face them again on Saturday, May 1 at 11:00 AM. Though the Vikings are the home team, the game will again be played at New Berlin West.
